Description

SpecificityThe product recognizes epitopes located on the rat κ and λ light chains on the various rat immunoglobulin classes and subclasses. The epitope recognized on the κ light chains is shared by both the 1a and 1b allotypes of this molecule. The antibody detects the κ and λ light chains derived from normal serum immunoglobulins or from myeloma proteins. Weak cross-reaction is observed with guinea pig immunoglobulins but not with human, bovine, cat, chicken, dog, goat, horse, mouse, pig, rabbit or sheep immunoglobulins.
Physical formSolution in 0.05 M Tris buffer, pH 8.0, containing 1 mM MgCl2, 1% bovine serum albumin, 50% glycerol and 15 mM sodium azide
General descriptionThe product is a mixture derived from hybridomas RT-39 and RL-6, secreting monoclonal antibodies against rat κ and λ light chains, respectively.
